I’m noticing a connection between the Homestuck fandom and being completely against anything that’s actually remotely near canon. It’s kinda funny funny, in a “demented and disgusting trainwreck” sort of way.
No wonder the fandom scares so many people out of actually reading Homestuck.
there was a big uproar a while back over this epidemic of teen girls who’ve never actually read homestuck making fanart and shipping and stuff
apparently this is a thing for a lot of fandoms that have seen a rapid influx
i mean most of it is because everyone prefers their headcanon of gay john and karkat the poor rapeable babby and equius the noble sexy beast but maybe that other thing i said has something to do with it
