Speaking of Targaryens, that’s not exactly why everyone hates them so much. The main problem with Targaryens is that nobody likes them on any level. Plain and simple.
Heck, Jaime Lannister, the guy who repeatedly nailed his own sister is currently a fan favorite everywhere, replacing Tyrion Lannister, the guy who chased whores.
Normal ideas regarding sexuality and Ice and Fire don’t exactly go together.
I mean outside of the Starks, the most normal and loving marriage we’ve seen was Khal Drogo and Dany. The (probably)thirty-something year old fierce warrior with the thirteen year old girl. Remember their first night? Yeah, that was a painful read. And that pretty much set the standard for Ice and Fire and sexuality.
